The Ostfildern old people’s association (Verein Altenhilfe Ostfildern) set itself a very ambitious goal: it wanted to support the construction of a sensory garden in the Scharnhauser Park neighbourhood with donations of 100,000 euros. The aim was for the garden to help dementia sufferers feel better and more satisfied and to become more familiar with an environment which had become alien to them. The Margarete Müller-Bull Foundation was more than happy to contribute 10,000 euros to the cause. After all, the Elektror company is based in the same area of town.
