An animal shelter should offer suitable animal accommodation. In 2010, the Margarete Müller-Bull Foundation therefore offered considerable support during the initial stage of extensive renovation work which has taken place at the kennels of the Botnang animal shelter. Thanks to two further generous donations from the foundation in 2012, the work on the ‘margarete müller-bull home’ has now been completed and the dogs have moved into their new home.
A memorial plaque has been added at the home in memory of the founder. The plaque was unveiled by the Mayoress of Stuttgart, Susanne Eisenmann and the foundation board during celebrations to mark the 175 year anniversary of the Stuttgart animal welfare association (Tierschutzverein Stuttgart). The founder was also remembered with a short speech at this event.
