The situation was bleak at the kennels of the Botnang animal shelter in Stuttgart. Around half a million euros were needed to provide these 4-legged friends with a suitable place to live. This sum was largely generated through donations. The Margarete Müller-Bull Foundation provided crucial support – which is why the new kennels are now called the ‘margarete müller-bull home’! The key to the funding was ensuring that the renovation work did not create more space for more animals but rather focused on improving the living conditions for the dogs, in line with the foundation’s values.
Renovation work on the north wing will be supported with another substantial donation in 2012.
